Well, well, Michael Schumacher is making a comeback to F1 replacing Massa in the European GP. I can only welcome him back because it will be good sign for BrawnGP.
Say he is going to win all the remaining races, he can only achieve 70 points max from the 7 races left. And from there also, he is going to rob Vettel and Webber points, while BrawnGP Button may just get as much points as possible from the situation and emerge winner of the championship.
So much of the wishful thinking, but BrawnGP are in the position to take advantage of the situation as the BGP001 car is not behaving like the beginning of the season after all those upgrades.

Blame it on the Weather
In the post Hungarian race interview, Jenson told that he is worrying about Red Bull closing in the gap and he thinks it's a matter of 4 races to lose the championship if BrawnGP is not improving on current situation.
He mentioned that the weather in Friday practice and on race day Sunday was the difference. The 10 degree difference caused the option tires not performing as expected, and he got a lot of graining at the rear tires.
Ross claimed that BrawnGP might have exacerbated the problem base on last few races. But had the weather was warmer in Silverstone and Nurburgring, the car would have done better and we would not have made a lot of changes that made the current car not as good as the start of the season.
Button frustrated that he unable to analyze what happened in Hungaroring because of BrawnGP factory shutdown for 2 weeks.
He is hopeful for Hamilton to lend a helping hand in hauling Red Bull while he is gaining enough points to retain the top position.

More Failure in the Evil Ring
It was another race to forget for BrawnGP. Button finished 7th and Barrichello was 10th. The good news is Vettel retired but the bad news is Webber is gaining ground.
The gap is reduced to only 18.5 and it's getting closer in the Driver and Constructor Championship between Red Bull Racing and BrawnGP.
It was bad start for Jenson and Barrichello. Jenson was losing a place to 9th but later was able to overtake Nakajima to 8th position.
The option tires was not good at all, Button was not gaining lap time and Vettel (who had a bad start as well) was in 7th. He was pulling away and Nakajima was closing in. Jenson wasted a lot of time with the tires not performing as expected.
During the pit stop, he was still sticking to the option tires. I think he should not be asked to say which tires to choose, Ross should be the one making the call. Anyway, the set of tires was not doing any better. He was having a lot of oversteering. He was drifting away in term of fighting for a podium.
The way the car was heavily loaded with fuel should have made him a couple more points should the tires option was right. In the end, it was the prime tires that were doing better than the option tires.
He made at least a position up to 7th but was little too late. And talking about the 'Team Order', I felt Barrichello was doing just that. Having initially loaded with fuel sufficient for him to finish the race, but was forced to make another pit stop allowing Button to leapfrog him.
But maybe I was wrong, because I did not see how much he was fueled during the 1st pit stop. If I was right, I felt for Barrichello. But I think in Barrichello shoes, he will be doing the same to support his teammate.
The FIA rules do not allow 'Team Order', so BrawnGP might be called for investigation if they were really doing so. Hopefully we are clear from this.
So, the 3 weeks break we have before the next race come just about the right time, as it's time to regroup again and make the final push before Red Bull able to close further.

Hungaroring Qualifying Failure
It's like a ring with evil wizard casting spell on certain drivers. Felipe Massa, fractured his skull due to a debris came off Barrichello's car. It was such an accuracy defies beliefs that it hit straight at the head of Massa.
Without the helmet, it would have been certain death. It was a freak accident and with the helmet on, he was still suffering quite a serious injury. He got bruising at the head and skull fracture that he would need few weeks or even months to recover.
Anyway, back to the race, due to a screw or a spring came off the rear of Barrichello's car had caused him to loose out the Q2 of the qualifying session. It was a 13th position, the worse qualifying this season and the first time outside the top 10.
It has caused Button dearly as well as his BGP001 car is thoroughly checked for loose parts, and he was late to go out into the Q3 of the qualifying. By making only a warm up lap and a timing lap. He was ended up in P8.
Speaking of evil, even the timing system gone wrong. It was like a blackout, where the drivers finishing the qualifying without knowing who was at the pole.
All in all, it's another disppointment of a qualifying for BrawnGP, here's hoping for a good day tomorrow where a podium place is at stake. I strongly feel that Jenson's car was heavy with fuel.

No 'Team Order' for BrawnGP
Sometimes, the press design interviews and news to stir up trouble to winning teams like BrawnGP and Red Bull. Only last week, Webber had proven that there is no unfair treatment in the Red Bull camp.
And the same with BrawnGP. In the interview prior to the Hungarian GP, Button has reiterated that there is no 'Team Order' in term or favouring him more than Barrichello.
He said both drivers are treated equally as they are given the best cars and setup for each race.
Jenson said that it will be winning the race ever more sweeter knowing that there is no favouritism and beating your teammate base on your own ability.

Hungarian GP Preview
This time, BrawnGP is going to flex it's muscle again after the previous 2 disappointments. Why? Because, it's going to be hot out there in the Hungaroring circuit this weekend.
This mean we should not have any problem getting the temperature into the tires and when this happens, our real pace will show.
Besides that, there are lacking of high speed corners and BrawnGP always do well on medium and slow corners.
For Jenson, this circuit is one of his favourite as he had won here 3 years ago. And because that was his maiden win, he will be having the sweet memory and will go all out to repeat the victory again.
Barrichello is feeling the same as he had won there before and he is also confident that the car will be working well with the tires on the hot track.
Ross Brawn told that we are going to have aero upgrade to the BGP001 car and should see improvement in the car performance.
I can't wait to see a change of fortune this weekend. Hope to see both drivers in the podium.

Brawn in for Schumacher?
There was a rumor circulating saying Michael Schumacher will be teaming with BrawnGP with an unspecified role next year.
However, Schumacher denied about this linkup.
But who knows, as Ross Brawn had good relationship with Schumacher during his time with the Ferrari.
Having said that, I don't really like Schumacher making the call in BrawnGP camp as he had made some bad calls few months ago in Ferrari camp.

Jenson's Thought on Hungarian GP
Button acknowledged the tires heating problem, and he is kinda worry if Hungary will be a wet track in 2 weeks time.
Although he had won the Hungarian GP in the wet before but this time around he is hoping for a nice hot weather so that the temperature in the tires will not be a problem.
There will be a couple of parts to upgrade the car so he is expecting the car to be competitive.
He is relieved that the last 2 races was over but he is not happy with the points gain, he is expecting a couple more points in the bag.
Jenson is going to kick some arse in Hungary.

No Podium for BrawnGP
For the 1st time of this season, BrawnGP failed to grab at least a place in the podium. Button and Barrichello are 5th and 6th respectively. It's a disappointing race.
What happened was both BrawnGP cars was for the first time the lightest of all the cars at the beginning of the race.
The thinking behind this was, since the weather is so unpredictable, having been fueled lightly might benefit the cars. But it was backfired. The weather was so stable and not a single drop of rain for the whole of the race.
Besides that, again the tires temperature was so disappointing. Button was weaving like mad to get the heat in. It was like the warming lap before the start of a race.
At half way point, Barrichello was looking good to at least grabbing the 2nd spot, but was spoiled by the fuel rig. The changing of the fuel rig was so costly and as if that was not enough, Jenson leap froghim after the last pit stop. It was so harsh on him.
Again this race is another to forget. BrawnGP is slowly fading away and Red Bull is gaining momentum to push Button all the way.
Looking at the current problem, we really need a dry and hot piece of track to get back to the best form as shown at the beginning of the season.

BrawnGP Qualified 2nd and 3rd
Having qualified 2nd and 3rd position for Barrichello and Button respectively is a good qualifying result considering the crazy condition at Nurburgring circuit.
It was a dry Q1 and slight drizzling later in Q2 and Q3. It's really unpredictable since the weather is changing so fast.
However, if it would rain tomorrow, this qualifying result will be insignificant as anything can happened. It could be changing the right tires at the right time will determine who will win this race.
At the moment, everything look good into the actual race tomorrow. Hopefully both BrawnGP drivers will be in the podium.

Brawn Received Award
Ross Brawn was awarded the most outstanding contribution to Motorsports by MIA (Motorsports Industry Association) at the annual MIA gathering. Ross is truly a legend and a genius in Motorsports. I am proud that the team BrawnGP is bearing his name.
Stormy Weekend at Nurburgring
This is bad news as weather forecast indicated that this weekend we are in for a shower storm. We know that BrawnGP will be in for a nightmare situation when racing in the wet.
We couldn't get the heat into the tires and we going to expect Red Bull to dominate if the condition does not change.
Let's hope it's not going to be that bad as the weather up the hill is unpredictable.

German GP Preview
Nurburgring, a race at the mountain of Eifel, featuring heavy braking zones and slow and medium corners, all the signs of BrawnGP cars BGP001 good at.
Suddenly, the woes of Silverstone was forgotten and we have a bright prospect here at Nurburgring. The break has been timely, and was given the time to reflect on the mistake we made and the problem we had and comeback stronger.
However, the weather is unpredictable here, anything less than a dry and hot condition would jeopardise the car performance as again putting temperature into the tires are a concern.
As the team making their improvements back in the factory, we should see some improvement to the BGP001 car. There were some aero component upgrades which was planned for Silverstone but was not utilized plus add on for German GP will be included into the BGP001 car.
The bad news for BrawnGP is Vettel being his 'Home' GP will be fired up for this having won last round.
We are going to have a fight in our hand with Red Bull being so dominant at British GP. Hopefully the weather will be nice and we regain our rightful place at the top of the podium this weekend.

Branson Reconsider Future
Sir Richard Branson is reconsidering future partnership with BrawnGP as he predicted next year the price is going to be astronomical and they will have to go for smaller team.
The success that BrawnGP is having now will surely attract more and lucrative deals in the future, thus it's inevitable that Virgin partnership may not be for long.
However, Branson expressed gratitute that they were able to help out BrawnGP to springboard the start of what is going to be a great season a new team ever had.
Button in Paris with Jessica
Apparently, Jenson is enjoying his time with Jessy in the hot summer and romantic city of Paris.
"In the end I would say doing something like that is like cheating. It’s not fair. Winning the championship, knowing that your team mate has equal opportunities is the best way to win"
"The Hungaroring is a pretty physical track which combined with the usual high temperatures make it a tough challenge for the drivers but that's what we enjoy"
"We have a good history of going away from a race, thinking about the outcome, identifying where we need to make improvements and then coming back stronger"
